Youth Education Programming
At North Bay Letterpress Arts, our youth education programming introduces young people to the art, craft, and history of letterpress and book arts through hands-on, tactile learning. Students are invited to slow down, work with their hands, and engage with language and design in a meaningful way—setting type, operating presses, and exploring how words, images, and materials come together on the page.
Our programs are designed to spark curiosity, build creative confidence, and support learning across disciplines, from literacy and storytelling to visual art and problem-solving. Whether through school partnerships, workshops, or special youth-focused events, we strive to create inclusive, welcoming experiences that encourage experimentation, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation for making.
