Rod Buchignani Scholarship

Inspired by Rod Buchignani, the Studio Printers of North Bay Letterpress Arts have created a Scholarship Program in his name.

In the spirit of Rod’s delight in Letterpress and his lifelong commitment to education, the scholarship provides partial fees to individuals and groups with interest in printing, poetry, and book making who encounter financial limitations to participation.

The Rod Buchignani Letterpress Scholarship was created to assist North Bay Letterpress Arts in its mission to promote knowledge and practice of Letterpress by providing financial assistance for individuals who wish to participate in NBLA activities including:

  • Workshops. Scholarship may cover 1/3 to 1⁄2 of workshop fees

  • Long term participation at NBLA. Scholarship may cover 1/3 to 1⁄2 of fees for 1, 2 or 3 months with possibility of reapplying for future months
