CODEX X Book Art Fair
February 7 - 10, 2026
The International Biennial CODEX Book Art Fair & Symposium focuses on serving practitioners, scholars, curators, collectors, students, and all those who are curious newcomers or avid enthusiasts of the art of the book. The international community is brought together to exhibit their work and educate the public about the rich traditions and contemporary practices surrounding artists’ books and fine press publications — where craft and concept unite into exemplary works of art.
You will also find representatives working in the associated crafts, such as bookbinders / boxmakers, calligraphers / lettering artists, papermakers / paper decorators, type foundries, toolmakers, and book art suppliers. Exhibitors also include a variety of academic institutions representing student work, along with a variety of book art organizations that work to preserve and promote various aspects of the field.
North Bay Letterpress Arts will be one of these exhibitors!

volunteer at our booth
We will provide complimentary Vendor Passes to volunteers who can share their time to help, plus a $25 stipend to cover gas + a meal for the day.
We are in need of a few volunteers to help represent NBLA at our Codex X booth, as many of our members will be exhibiting at the event and are unavailable to do so. If you have ever wanted to get in on the Codex X action, now is the perfect time.
Our booth will mostly consist of promotional material to spread the word about our workshops, membership options, and general information. No sales will be made at the booth.
