Learn how to sew the Long-Stitch book, a simple and beautiful book form that has been used since medieval times in Germany.
This is a non-adhesive structure that has both an exposed spine, yet the book’s pages are also sewn directly through the cover. In this workshop the cover is a soft suede leather, flexible with softly rounded spines (commonly known as a Limp Binding). The finished cover incorporates a leather cord to wrap around the entire book. These make excellent sketch journals, and your next book will have the perfect paper selection of your choice.
