9 x 12 Personal Print
Here is your opportunity to carve a linocut, see it printed with a steamroller, and support the art of letterpress printing in Sonoma County.
How it works:
Entries are open to the first thirty submissions. Don’t hesitate!
1. Complete the information form and purchase a 9 inch x 12 inch linoleum block for $30.
2. Pick up your block at North Bay Letterpress Arts in Sebastopol (behind Bee Kind on Gravenstein Hwy South). Blocks can be shipped for an additional $12 to the address indicated on the form.
3. Carve your linocut block
4. Return your completed block to NBLA by 6pm on Friday, September 19th. Shipped blocks must arrive at NBLA by September 20th.
5. Join the fun at the North Bay Print & Poetry Festival and enjoy the spectacle of your block being printed with a steamroller!
6. Each artist will receive one steamroller print from their block.
7. Blocks can be collected after 5pm on the day of the Festival, or they can be picked up at NBLA between 10am—3pm, Monday through Saturday from 10/6 through 10/27. Blocks and their steamroller prints will be shipped back to artists during the week of October 6th.
Prints from the submitted blocks will be on view before steamroller printing commences at 11am.
9“ x 12” steamroller prints will be on sale to the public for $50.
Orders for purchased prints will be taken and printed throughout the day. Proceeds will benefit North Bay Letterpress Arts and ReVillage.
